Summer lipstick picks

Do you change your lipsticks every season? I do, even if it is unintentional. This summer I'm all about nude eye shadow and shiny pink lips. I find myself reaching for the same few lipsticks over and over again, so decided I'd share with you my picks for this summer.
Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Honeymoon
Bourjois Rouge Edition 12 Hours in 31 Beige Shooting
Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow in Mixed Berry
Lancome Shine Lover in 316 Eclat de Rose
Jane Iredale PlayOn Lip Crayon in Charming
Jane Iredale recently released lip crayons and they're lovely. They have the pigment of a lipstick, they're fragrance free and lasts about half a day before I need to reapply.

Lancome Shine Lover is a product that I couldn't wait to get my hands on. It's the first Lancome lip product that I've been disappointed with. I was expecting it to have good pigment and last for a few hours but it doesn't, it barely lasts half an hour on me. So now you're wondering why it's one of my picks? The colour is really pretty and it's a product that I don't mind reapplying regularly. I won't repurchase it, it's really not worth the $45 that I spent on it.

If you are yet to try the Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow what are you waiting for? At only $6.95 you can't go wrong. Mixed Berry is a gorgeous light purple shade that looks really pretty paired with a nude eye shadow. Being a chubby pencil it's super easy to carry around in my handbag, just make sure the lid is tightly closed.

On days when I can't be bothered with touch ups I use my Bourjois Rouge Edition 12 Hours lipstick. It's a very mlbb colour on me, it's enough to brighten up my face without being obvious. The added bonus to wearing a mlbb lipstick is when it wears off it isn't as noticeable as when I'm wearing a brighter colour. The Rouge Edition 12 Hours lipsticks last at least six hours on me before I need to reapply.

Clinique's Long Last Lipstick in Honeymoon is the newest addition to my collection and was love at first application. It's not a colour I'd normally wear as it has shimmer in it, but the shimmer is very subtle and pretty, it looks more shiny than shimmery.

What are your summer lipstick picks?

Note: The Clinique lipstick was sent to me for review.
